Alexandra Stepanova (born August 19, 1995 in Saint Petersburg) is a Russian ice dancer. With partner Ivan Bukin.
They won the Gold medal at the JGP in Turkey and in Germany for a great start into the 2012/2013 season.
Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin are the 2011 – 2012 Champions and the 2010–2011 Junior Grand Prix Final bronze medalist.
Alexandra Stepanova was originally a singles skater but her coach felt she was suited for ice dancing. Since there was no dance school in Saint Petersburg, she moved to Moscow. Alexandra Stepanova was teamed with Ivan Bukin in 2006 by coaches Irina Zhuk and Alexander Svinin.
Alex has had no previous partners. During the 2010–2011 season, they won both of their JGP events and qualified for the Final, where they won the bronze medal and are the champions of the 2011 – 2012 ISU JGP Brasov Cup 2011.
