Takahito Mura

Takahito Mura born February 11, 1991 in Matsudo City is a Japanese figure skater. Despite popping a triple flip and getting a deduction for one of his routines, ice skater Takahito Mura from Japan graced his way to a gold medal last Saturday at the Trophee Bompard Paris Grand Prix at the Paris-Bercy Arena.

He is the 2012 Trophée Eric Bompard champion, a two-time Finlandia Trophy champion, and the 2010 Triglav Trophy champion. Nationally, he is the 2009 Japanese senior bronze medalist and 2008 junior national champion. Mura won gold – his first senior Grand Prix medal – at the 2012 Trophée Eric Bompard.
